TENS - powerdot

Hi All

I have a powerdot TENS machine that I used before getting pregnant for muscle pain. I've read a lot about TENS and early labour pain but can't find anything online about the specific pad placement for a powerdot machine, there are lots of programmes on the app but not for labour.

Has anyone one used the same machine with success in early labour?

Pad placement generally remains the same but you would be better getting an obstetric tens machine as they have a boost function. This is a button you can press at the beginning of a contraction and switch off when it's ended, creating stronger impulses to help ease the contraction. A general tens machine does not have this function. There is no reason why it couldn't be used though, just that it may not be that effective.

I found tens effective to ease early labour pain in my first labour which was very long, but not in my second quicker labour. Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy and the birth x
