I'm curious to know your first signs that labour started?

With my first I had a sudden upset tummy before I went to bed and lost my mucus plug. By the morning I was off to the hospital. But curious to know what others people's signs were.

Regular muscle twinges in the small of my back. It started pinging at 7am on Saturday morning and ds was born on Monday morning.

And on the Friday morning I had an irresistible urge to scrub the kitchen floor (completely out of character) 😀

With my first I can’t remember much at all, he was a big surprise setting himself off on the morning of the day I’d been booked for an induction.
I can remember going on a big cleaning spree not long before. I lost my plug on the Monday and he was born the Thursday.

I’m 38 weeks now with our second and over analysing every little thing. I’ve had crazy energy surges for the past 2 days so hoping it means something 😂

DC1 getting up and going to the loo way too often.

DC2 announced her imminent arrival with such massive contractions that I thought I was having her there and then. Luckily I managed to get to Hospital. She still a loud drama queen now Grin

Mine felt like it went on forever... I had latent labour for about a week so for me it was just mild contractions (I say mild my god they hurt 😂) I didn't get anything else lol

I had really faint period pain twinges probably from about 2 weeks out. On the Sunday, I lost a bit of mucus plug. On the Monday, another large bit of mucus plug with the period pains getting much more noticeable (but wouldn't call them contractions yet). 4am Tuesday the pains woke me up, I wasn't in awful pain but noticeable enough to keep me awake, and enough that i needed to keep busy during the day on tuesday to distract me from the pain. Got pretty intense by tea time on tuesday. The pains just got worse from there, and he was born about 7am on the Thursday. If you'd have told me at tea time on the Tuesday I had 36 hours to go I would have punched you 😂

It was a longgggg, hellish back to back labour!
