3rd pregnancy - 39+3 Cervix softening... need some encouragement

Hi. I was late on my other 2 and I'm hoping that 'softening' on a 3rd pregnancy means that labour could maybe be sooner than later?

Just looking for some encouragement, though in my heart feel like I'm going to go over due again...

how late were your other two? have you had any other signs of labour?

dd was 8 days late and ds was 5 days... No other signs of labour this time round.
Also wondering if softening with a 3rd pregnancy is significant..
