Which side should baby be on?

There is a thread in pregnancy which got me thinking about this. I'm feeling pretty much everything on my right hand side. From what I can feel and the midwife has said, he has his back to my tummy, not my back so I know that is good. But should he be on the left instead?
I'm 29 weeks this Saturday and so far feeling great, not that uncomfortable etc, so I don't have any personal prob with where he is, but seems he 'should' be on the left - i.e. it's more common.
Any thoughts anyone? It's very much on my mind now - hence the fact I'm posting at 11.20pm!
Just worried it will effect my chances of a natural, drug free delivery.
If it will then what can I do to shift him over?
Thanks!

Sounds like baby is in a great position. And 29 weeks is too early to stress about it. Sleep how you like and think again at 34 weeks. At this moment baby can still turn somersaults!

the position is absolutely fine, the second best position ! please do not worry about it at all, baby could well turn before delivery, but there is no reason at all, that if baby stays on the right, that you won;t have the delivery you want to go for !
