When did your period return after birth?

Just what the question asks.

I'm currently 12 weeks postpartum (elective c-section) and so far no period.
I am combi-feedings, currently expressing around 2-3 times a day.

I heard that if you're breastfeeding it can take longer for periods to return, but does the same apply when expressing?

4 months. DS was ebf, but conked out for some really long sleeps after his first set of immunisations. I pumped a couple of times but not overnight, and my period started a couple of days later even though we were feeding 7-8 times a day still. Gutted!

18 months. It returned 48hrs after my first night away from EBF toddler (who still feeds through the night). Still feeding her and it's been pretty regular since.

Still waiting at nearly 8 months after DC2.

Wasn't until I had the implant taken out of my arm and taking metformin (so about 17 months) after DC1. I do have PCOS though.
