8 days post c-section throbbing internal pain left side

I had an emergency cesarian 8 days ago and at first the pain was totally manageable, in fact I didn't feel I really needed to take all my prescribed pain killers. Yesterday I started to get internal pain when emptying my bladder, and today I have left sided throbbing pain which is totally new and really quite painful.
My incision looks perfectly clean and like it's healing well but I'm now really worried there may be something internally going on!
Just wondering if anyone had similar new pains coming on when they had a cesarian. I have a midwife appointment tomorrow so will definitely ask if it's still there.

Sounds very painful, hope this improves but it may be worth phoning the maternity triage line to see whether they should see you sooner or whether you should just wait to see midwife tomorrow. Hope all is ok for you x

Hi @SparkleBrightt , I ended up having a UTI which cleared up after a course of antibiotics. The pain really ramped up, I didn't realise a UTI could be so painful!

Maybe everything was still sore which made it more painful than usual. Glad you are well now tho !
