If so, please could you share your experiences? Plus it may sound odd but how many women in a bay, are there any private rooms? Thanks very much x

I was induced there 2 years ago and there are 4 beds on the antenatal wards where you will go when you have the pessary. Once you get into active labour you’ll move to your own room. The pessary didn’t work for me and didn’t cause any contractions so I was on the ward for 3 nights waiting for a private room so they could break my waters and start me on the drip. If you have any other questions let me know :)

My experience was similar to @mooonbaby but 10yrs ago, spread over 3days failed induction pessary didn’t work & they couldn’t break waters easily so I had c-sec. For induction we had 4 ladies in bay, and I went in the evening to have the first pessary, then a second in the day time, it didn’t work but as they were busy I was held in waiting for bed space/staff capacity.
Post C-sec I had a room with just two of us. Hope it goes well, take food & drink that you like. I just remember needing snacks, and hope you have a healthy baby soon.

One of my friends was induced there 2 weeks ago. I don’t know many specifics but she was really happy with her experience. She got a private room post birth with a sofa (I assume for her partner to sleep on, but I didn’t ask).
