Induction and Covid

I'm booked to be induced tomorrow and have just tested positive for Covid. Being induced due to gestational diabetes so I don't think il be able to delay. Anyone else had a similar experience recently. DH currently testing negative but we are both terrified of what happens if he does catch it. Sleeping in separate rooms tonight... not how I imagined our last night together. It feels like nothing has gone right this pregnancy and this is the absolute final straw of what I can cope with....

I would call the birthing unit now and ask. They might need to prepare a separate room or extra PPE. Covid restrictions seem to vary hugely between hospitals so no-one here will know for sure what happens.

Best of luck, I hope it's very mild for both of you.

Thanks @Numbat2022 I have called them it seems we will be ok unless he catches it and then he won't be allowed... not clear if that means for birth too as I was in a bit of a fluster... just got to ride the train I suppose!
