Possible csection date? Due 27th December

When would most likely to be my csection date ? I've been told it will be after 39 weeks so somepoint after the 20th trying to plan ahead as we have 4 other children . Is it likely to be on the 20th ?

All depends when they can fit you in a lot of the time and you won’t know that until probably the week of / few days prior and even then that can change.

It all depends. They usually don't book it until you're further along in pregnancy.

Mine was booked for 39 weeks. But I then had complications that meant I had to have him early and I then got rebooted in for 38 weeks.

I’m 36 weeks and have been booked for 39 weeks.

@CampRedLeaf Do you mind me asking what the reasons were that yours was brought forward? I’m suffering awful spd and baby is measuring big; so really hoping they might consider bringing it forward a little

In some hopsitals they try to avoid elcs on weekends too you might need to consider that. I was due on the 12/9 (not this year!) and had an elcs on the 6/9.

@SaffyWall Yeah im thinking they won't do it on weekend(unless emergency) especially since the weekend will be sat Christmas eve and sun Christmas day 😬
wish I had an idea already so I can plan I was in 3 days after last section so keeping fingers crossed il be out for Christmas day 🤞
