Stitches 7 weeks after c section

Hi

As the titles implies, I had a c section 7 weeks ago and seemed to heal up fine. A bit of it felt sore this morning and on closer inspection I found and pulled out two stitches an inch or so long. I've put savlon cream on.
I thought I was having dissolvable stitches and certainly haven't had any stitches removed. Is this normal? Could there be more in there? Cheers for the help in advance.

had mine removed about a week after c/s (they were done in a line, so one end - looked a bit like a map pin - was snipped and midwife pulled a plasticky string out. hardly felt a thing)

sometimes they use other materials so I'd ring your community midwife to check.

That sounds a bit odd, I'd get in touch with your mw. I had dissolvable stiches inside but the same as bundle on the external scar. Think if you can pull them out yourself they should have been removed??

Not very dissolvable then - will call the midwife if I find any more.
