thought I’d ask in here as I asked in the pregnancy part but they are mainly all still pregnant so I thought asking in the childbirth part may be better.

Iv been tidying my bedroom after getting the rest of my baby stuff delivered and iv sat down for a rest to watch tv and have lunch and I started feeling awful burning pain in my very lower back that’s coming and going and had been for an hour now iv taken some pain medicines tbey not helped iv changed positions it’s not helped. Could it be labour starting? This is not first baby but other babies were inductions, my baby fully engaged two days ago as I felt she had dropped when her hiccups were almost ib my vagina and I visited my midwife and baby was fully engaged. I’m 36 weeks will be 37 on Saturday.

did anyone go into labour and it started with back pains coming and going but not anywhere else?

Could be latent labour. Without wanting to worry you latent labour with first babies can last days and even weeks with some women. I had a 4 day latent labour with my eldest- contractions painful enough to need a tens machine for would go for 4 hours or so or even 6 hours and then die off.
My advice is to rest as much as possible, take paracetomal if you need to. Good luck! It is definitely the start of your body gearing up for the real deal!

With my 2nd had back pains in waves and just kind of pre period aches for 2 days… probably somethings starting! Good luck!
