Episiotomy bleeding and painful 8 months PP??

So I gave birth last December and was giving an episiotomy during labor, I hadn't had many problems after childbirth until last week, on the area where the stitches are has swollen and very painful, it also was bleeding a small bit today. Is this normal or should I get looked at?

No not normal to suddenly become a problem again. Are you breastfeeding? If so then it’s common to have dryness and fragility of the skin around there due to lower oestrogen so this is probably the main cause.

I am not breastfeeding and only done it for a few days! Very unusual
