I had DD 2 weeks ago and after she was born I bled a fair amount. We were in hospital for 4 days so in all honesty it's a bit of a blur.
Since I've been home, the bleeding has practically stopped. There's always a bit of browny pink discharge on the pads but not much else at the moment, same when I wipe.
I had a 2nd degree tear as well, which the midwife said the stitches have come away from partially. She was worried it was infected, so took a swab last saturday but I've not had the results back yet. It's not hurting, although I can feel pressure from it at times there doesn't seem to be any horrible discharge coming from it onto the pad. I feel well in myself otherwise.
I just expected to be bleeding for more than a week so not sure if something odd is going on.
