Looking for advice on ways to labour naturally

Hello, this is my 4th pregnancy
1st labour was fine went into labour and had baby naturally after 2 membrane sweeps everything fine.
2nd I went overdue and was induced and rushed for emergency c-section after her heart stopped (everything fine now).
3rd I had section booked in for 26th of the month but went into labour my self on the 16th and the hospital convinced me to try and labour myself for 36 hours and I just didn't progress well atall so was taken for a section at 4cm.

My question is, what can I do to help my body progress well?
I will have a section booked in closer to the time but if I go into labour spontaneously they will want me to try and labour myself so I was wandering if anyone has any advice or anything that has worked for them to labour well? As I would much rather a natural birth to a section as I find the recovery from a section horrendous

Give the naked doula on insta a follow, she's got loads of free advise on there. Her course is also fab. Basically understanding how labour works, increasing your oxytocin and keeping your adrenaline at bay helps labour progress x

I don't know how much this will help but if you look at people who don't have access to a maternity hospital, they squat to give birth which happens quickly then they get up and go back to what they were doing!!

Good luck with this birth.

Raspberry leaf capsules from Holland & Barratt, took loads with first (far more than recommended and earlier than recommended now, was a long time ago and I naively thought it was natural so couldn't do any harm🙄) overdue so induced with a drip 3 & half hours start to finish, only gas and air. Next two pregnancies was more lax about remembering to take them, busy with other children, second 4 hours third was worst, took the least capsules was 6 hours, neither required pain relief both times i did what my body told me and had them squatting. The theory is they tone the womb to make it work more efficiently. obviously I can't say if I would have been different without and a very unscientific research but I believe they were effective and if I'd remembered to take more the third would have been quicker/easier labour.
