So with my first I was in labour 4 days, horrific I had to be induced, forceps and I struggled mentally
Now I'm expecting my second I really don't know if I want a c section or v birth.
Any advice
Thanks

Yes for me! Make sure you eat lots of dates from 36 weeks onwards. I used to eat 12 small ones a day and baby came out 20 mins when i went into hospital even though she was breech!

I've never heard about this
I'm 36 weeks now so maybe I'll take a trip to the shop tomorrow

Yes! Second time was so much easier. First was 28 hours, failed epidural, episiotomy, forceps and pph. Second was just over 2.5 hours with just gas and air. Everything was much more manageable and felt like I could have done it again. Really was night and day. Recovery was much, much quicker afterwards too. I literally felt like I could have just got up and left afterwards in the physical sense. We did stay for observation due to meconium but I felt well straight away. For me it was absolutely the right decision to go for another vaginal birth despite the difficulties first time round.
