To those of you who have had a c-section, how long did it take until you felt like the pain was no longer holding you back from doing things, and/or until you felt completely back to normal?

I am 3 weeks postpartum and still feel in quite a lot of pain from moving around, think I set myself back from overdoing it last weekend! Just have this horrible pulling sensation on my right side, which I'm told is where the anchor stitches are! Had it since day 1 and it has got better but now feel like recovery has stalled a bit! Finding it very upsetting/frustrating.

Hi I was fine after two weeks, external stitches healed but certain positions/movements cause stabbing pains in each side of my internal stitching. It's getting loads better but still there. I'm four weeks post section now x

6 weeks or so maybe? Definitely remember the doing too much then feeling back to square 1 the next day!

I was in pain for around 3 weeks but still found it slightly difficult to get up from lying down for almost 5 weeks. Im now 9 weeks pp and feel pretty much back to normal.

I felt OK getting about just the odd pulling feeling. My scar felt stingy and stitches opened on the left side at 3 weeks pp which was a bit alarming but Nurse just said it was mos likely the last bit to knit and with it being such a big wound it would take time so wasn't too worried and it healed itself. So I had to slow down a bit then.

I had an emergency section 11 weeks ago and I've still got pain in the left side of my lower stomach if I lightly touch it and I'm still bleeding 🙈. Had scans etc and been told it's "just one of those things".. I guess everybody is different 😬
