When was your 3rd elective c section scheduled?

I had 2 planned c sections already.

My first was breech and refused to move.

2nd was breech and big.

Both were planned for one week before due date and that's when they were carried out.

Now pregnant with my 3rd and I'm sure will also be a monster baby (gigantic) are 3rd sections normally done around 39 weeks too?

I had my 3rd one at 38 weeks. Needed 2 steroid injections in the week leading up to it.

Elective sections are nearly always 39 -40 weeks because prior to 39 weeks the risks of respiratory issues in the baby are a bit higher. Unless there’s a reason to do it earlier then they tend to stick to this time frame x
