Subsequent induction after late term loss?

Have any of you ladies had a planned induction with your babies, following a previous late term loss? Can you share your experience?

My first baby was stillborn (heart stopped at 37+1 and born a few days later). I'm currently 36 weeks with another baby and growing a little anxious as week 37 approaches. I am hoping to be induced sometime in the next 2 weeks, ideally no later than 38 weeks.

I had a planned induction after a previous Stillbirth. It just made me so much more settled that I was not going into Labour without my husband there. They'd already discovered that I had Group B Strep so needed a drip. My consultant was brilliant, and the staff really watched over me. It took a long time though - I went in on Sunday and didn't have her until Thursday. But I was monitored all the time. The only thing I couldn't stand was the heartbeat monitor so they turned that down for me. I needed the security of a lot of checking and took on board every suggestion they offered me.

@user1471517095 it sounds like you were so we'll looked after! It's reassuring to hear this. Thank you for sharing. It hadn't even occurred to me how triggering the sound of the heart monitor might be so something to consider

I'm currently in every week for scans with consultant and my midwife has suggested a little tour of L&D (so I am mentally prepared for going back there).
