Postpartum cramps

I gave birth to DD2 9 days ago and still have some fairly mild cramping in my lower abdomen/uterus area.
How long is this pain considered normal for, at what point should I worry about infection? I saw my midwife a few days ago and everything was fine and I have my discharge appointment with her on Monday so can ask again then. But thought I'd check on here how long other people had pain for?
I can be a bit of a hypochondriac so am probably over worrying about infection. I don't have a fever, and my bleeding is still generally slowing down, doesn't smell etc.

I had DS2 five weeks ago, and I must admit that I'm also a bit of a hypochondriac and had similar worries for a while. I had cramps on and off until about three weeks postpartum. They ramped up a bit around 7-14 days postpartum when I started being more active (doing laundry, picking up my toddler, etc.).

I'd give your body a little more time. You know the signs of infection -- try not to worry unduly.
