Home birth after c section

Has anyone had a home birth after c section? I've been given the all clear to have a VBAC but recommended to go to the labour ward rather than midwife led unit or home birth. Just curious on other peoples experiences

I'm aware that this is an old thread but I wondered if you went for the home birth and what your experience was?

@Lizardonachair I know two good friends who had a home birth after a caesarean birth. Both went very well, everyone well and happy. I had a home birth after a very intervention heavy birth. Home birth was amazing.

Thanks for your response. That's really positive to hear. I didn't have a very nice experience in hospital and because of it I'd rather stay away if possible. I had my daughter in 2020 so they were trying to keep everyone out of the hospital and I was left to mostly labour at home anyway, I was 10cm by the time I got there so I thought I may as well do that again!
