Does anyone have any positive or successful ecv/baby turning stories they can share with me or any advice on how to get my breech baby to turn within the next day ? 🥲😂 much appreciated

Hi there - how many weeks are you? I ask because my current baby turned from
breech to cephalic at 32+6. I was laying on my side at night and I felt her turn. Basically if you are not yet 36+ weeks there’s a good chance baby will make the nosedive him/herself. And if my baby had not turned I would have had an ECV. I watched a couple of videos of it being done and it didn’t seem too daunting actually.

I hope baby does it under their own steam though 🤞🏻

im 37 today ::( have tried lots of stuff to get her to turn on her own but no luck and now just feel terrified of every outcome x

Had the ECV today was quite painful and although she flipped she immediately returned but so glad I tried otherwise I always would have wondered! This is my first baby and I’m 37+2 which I think is what’s contributing to the nerves - Thankyou for your reply 💖

Worth a try! At least now you won't think "what if". I myself didn't bother with the ECV - went straight for the section and it was so straightforward and easy I had another one with my second, although there was no medical need. Each to their own, but personally I'm a big fan of elective sections! They can be fab.

If you have any good tips or hacks for having an elective section and making it the best experience possible then I’m all ears! Thankyou for the well wishes 💖
