Upper abdominal pain after childbirth?

After what seemed like a straightforward birth, I now feel like I’m being plagued by random problems! When I bend over, I get sharp stabby pain upper left of my abdomen, just under my breast. It’s not constant, but enough to make me feel fairly uneasy. Midwife is coming on Wednesday, and my GP friend didn’t seem worried but I wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar?

I had this from pushing and tensing my abs so hard to push my baby out. It was like I’d done a million sit ups just standing up it gradually went but took a while

After I had my first I remember feeling like I'd been hit by a bus. Everywhere ached for a good few days after the birth. Painkillers helped.

I had this after both births, I think it was a kind of colic or spasm, it was excruciating! Disappeared after a few days. Happened when I knelt down and leaned over to change baby on the floor. Don't do this, stand up and don't scrunch over

Only just saw these replies, thank you!

for anyone who may stumble across this thread, the pains utterly disappeared - I was careful not to lean over unnecessary and tried to strengthen my core when did have to. My takeaway from this is that childbirth is wild, your body needs to recover!
