When did your period return after childbirth?

Just that really.

I am currently almost 10 weeks postpartum and haven't had a period yet.

I mix-fed until week 7, but for the last 3 weeks I have been exclusively formula-feeding.

I had some spotting for three days 2 weeks ago, but unsure if that was a period? It was brown spotting at first, then I filled a small pad with fresh blood and then it went back to spotting fresh blood (sorry for the tmi). Super light and it only lasted three days.

So I'm unsure if that was a period, as I thought the first postpartum period was supposed to be heavy (I had a C-section as well).

So my question is.... when did yours return? xx

5 weeks each time despite ebf 😡

5 months and I FF exclusively

6 weeks with my first, my second is 11 weeks and no period as of yet!

4 months, EBF. I was robbed!

Four months and I was exclusively breastfeeding. I felt cheated!

Are you breast feeding or formula feeding?

I have bottle fed from birth and am nearly 11 weeks pp now and still no period. About 2 weeks ago I had pink when I wiped for about a week. I done a pregnancy test today just to put my mind at rest as I thought I would have had my period by now?

Gave birth early October and my period came back in February - despite breastfeeding.

Four weeks, with both of my children and I ebf'ed both of them.

It's interesting to see the different answers, there seems to be a wide variety of normal. 🤔

I'm also 10 weeks postpartum and mixed feeding and no sign of a period yet.

For DS 6 months I EBF and that was when he got another source of food.
For DD I don't actually remember. The whole year is a blur

It's interesting, that sounds similar to my spotting.

I wonder if that could have been a very weak period?

I am confused because everyone says how heavy your first period after childbirth is.

Pretty confident mine came back at 2 weeks this time. Sounds unbelievable but had all my usual strange period symptoms. C section, formula feeding (except a couple of paltry drops on the pump a couple of times a day)

Prior to that I think was 4 weeks as I went to the GP about it thinking something was very wrong, mortifying! And then not sure with my first.

Yes that’s exactly what I was thinking? May have been just a really light period. Surely that couldn’t have been it though as everyone says how bad the first period is. My friends worried me today saying it could have been implantation bleeding and I should do a test. So I did and I’m not pregnant! Suppose we will just have to wait for it to arrive, whenever that may be. We shouldn’t complain really as it’s so nice to not have them.

11 weeks - I breastfeed for 2 weeks then formula feed after that.

Mine has just come back. Baby is 13 weeks and combination fed

Almost two years later, both times. I BF but obviously they were eating food and having cows milk by then too.
