Hello, it was never the plan to even have one. Fast forward, I have had two and would love a third child (looking to start trying in about 6 months time) but I wanted to ask if people here had 3 c sections and what your experience was?

I've had three sections. All different and all absolutely fine.

I’ve had 3. 3rd was definitely the easiest and recovery was so much quicker with the 3rd, even though I had a 5 yo and 18month old. We actually took the DC to the zoo when DC3 was 8 days old and I walked round fine all day pushing the double pram.

You know what’s coming and what to do to aid recovery.

I've had 4. Will have a 5th if I ever conceive again. Best advice I can give is wait at least 2 years between sections, work on strengthening your core and make sure you've no adhesions. After birth, walk as soon as possible, but lift nothing and rest as much as you can for the first few weeks - that recovery period is really important if you're hoping for future pregnancies. Happy to answer any more questions:-)

I had three and I had my tubes tied during my third. I found the third a bit sorer to be honest possibly because of the tubes being removed but absolutely no issues at all. I recovered fine and was back to normal fairly quickly.

I've had 4 Smile

I've had three. Each different but all absolutely fine. I'm four years out from my last one and have no long lasting issues. There are some risks with having repeat c sections but I didn't have any complications. I have been told there's no reason not to have another even. My first two were at my request, the third on medical advice due to previous sections.
