Bleeding 4 weeks postpartum

Hi I'm am currently 4 weeks postpartum coming up sorry for the tmi my bleeding has stopped but when I release a bowel I bleed red from my vagina don't have my 6 week checkup for another two weeks not sure if this is normal please any one in the same senerio

I think you need to call 111 - they might tell you to go to a&e just to be sure it’s nothing bad.

Thank you for giving me suggestion the bleeding is not heavy I see bright red just after I pass a bowel movement I will see it when I wipe then it's gone

Mmmm I'm 4 weeks pp too, as long as you're sure it's from your vagina I think it's probably fine. The bowel movements and the fact that your pelvic floor relaxes on the loo probably just releases a bit of lochia.

My bleeding is really light now but if I go for a walk, sit on the loo for awhile, or use breast pump I'll get a bit more.

Worth a call to HV to discuss. I bled for 6 weeks after both my babies but bright red blood does suggest new bleeding so might be worth checking
