Sweep watch …

Had a 38week sweep today as trying to avoid induction . Consultant said I was 2cm and ‘soft’ . But she said babies head had a bit more to come down so wasn’t too hopeful . I know sweeps don’t do anything most of the time but thought it would be nice to speak to others getting sweeps around the same time so we can share experiences . I had the sweep around 10am and so far just feel nauseous and some back pain .

Do you have a birthing ball? Bounce on it for hours while in a darken room/or soft lighting and watch something not scary on TV.

Thanks ! Was bouncing alot yesterday , has alot of cramping last night had to take two paracetemol , today I think I may be losing small amounts of mucus plug but cramping has died down .

Maybe try some ‘self love’ . It worked for me.

Ok that sweep did nothing in the end. Was offered another tomorrow but doctor said might be better to wait until next week to allow the head to come down some more so having next one on Tuesday at 38+5
