ELCS low lying placenta

I’ve been told that it is more likely than not that I will need a planned c section as my placenta is still too low. Anyone gone through this? I’ve read that it is a high risk c section and am starting to panic!

I had full coverage placenta previa, and was scheduled in a CS, in the end I had an emergency one due to bleeding but everything was still fine in the end. Baby needed a little extra support but we both recovered well.

Yes it never moved had a planned c section at 37+4 under consultants advice (I’d had previous bleeding episodes and didn’t live very close to the hospital.)

Very relaxed atmosphere nothing hectic and plenty of people around during the section.

I had placenta previa stage 4 and DD was transverse. It went very smoothly. Lost a bit of blood but didn't need a transfusion. Scar healed really well. Recovery was good.

Had it at 38 weeks

Please don’t worry at this point. I was told I may have placenta accreta, started panicking and then later in the pregnancy everything appeared normal! I had a planned section out of choice and it all went well :-)

Exactly as @RomeoMcFlourish except DS was early and quite poorly so was in NICU for a while. All absolutely fine now though. The section itself was totally fine.
