Anyone else's first PP period last forever?

Calling the GP today because from what I've read (and from what I remember of my other 3 births), bleeding for 11 days straight (and showing no signs of stopping) isn't normal!

Has anyone else's first postpartum period lasted for over a week?
I'm not overly concerned as there aren't any clots, no foul smell, it really does just seem to be a 'normal' medium flow period that just didn't get the memo to start packing up week ago Hmm

Yes, my first 2 lasted 2 and a half weeks each. My third one lasted about 5 days. Hormones are crazy things and I imagine can take a little while for things to settle down x

Yes, mine lasted over a week and the first 5 days were insanely heavy. All calmed down and back to normal after that first one though

First period after birth is awful, very heavy, often with clots and can be quite a lot heavier. 11 days is on the longer side but doesn't massively shock me. The lining from the pregnancy has to come out so there's a lot more blood than a normal period xx
