C section scar pain after scan?

Hi All,

I have had 2 planned cesarean sections, last one in 2018. Today I had a 6 week early scan as I have had 2 mmc in past year. Thankfully baby all looks healthy and we saw a flicker, however the sonographer pushed really hard on my scar (obv cause its so early) but it was very painful at the time. When I came out the shower earlier and was drying my scar was very very painful... and still is now if I touch it. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this? I dont normally have issues with my scar but it's really sore tonight and I'm also worried about this pregnancy. Thanks

I’ve only had one but I totally remember how hard they push in the early scans! I remember feeling like I was going to hurt in my stomach the next day the same way you would if you were bruised and that was before I had been cut open and sewn back together 😅 I get the odd niggle now from my c-section scar but I’d guess there must be layers of scarring inside and some bits are better than others so they’ve maybe just pushed down really hard on a tight bit of that. Hopefully it eases up
