Hi, I'm booked in for a balloon induction on Monday and am soooo nervous! I'm just looking for peoples experiences with induction and how it all went please 🙏🏼 thanks in advance.

So I had the balloon inserted the night before I was put on the drip. I think they said they just wanted me to dilate enough to get waters to break. I was 2cm before balloon and it gave me an extra 1cm in 12h, then they managed to manually break waters.

I didn't like it, it was uncomfortable getting in- they couldn't find a gas cannister for me to have gas. I mean I wasn't in agony, I managed with breathing.. but you are entitled to have gas and I wanted it lol. I was super uncomfy and for some reason I couldn't manage to pee, they had to cathetise me. Anyhow.. I hope you find it easier. Good luck!
