38 weeks, labour signs? The end in sight?

I've been getting lower back pain and period like cramps in my lower abdominal area. Also shortness of breath and not sure if baby has "dropped " as I feel pressure. What signs did you all have prior to going into labour?

I was convinced you had the baby when you didn't answer for a few days! 🥲

I had a trickle when going toilet early this morning but can't be sure if it was waters breaking. Usual back pain and period cramps seem more intense. Don't see the need to ring triage though yet.

Rewatching hypnobirthing birthing video as i type. 39 weeks Tuesday but not sure baby will wait but been saying thing for the longest time. 🙃

@mindfulmotherhood I wish! I’ve just been trying to stay busy to keep my mind distracted.

Ooh fingers crossed for some action soon then?? Have you had any more waters going since?

39 weeks today! Yikes been keeping busy getting final bits for baby. Any signs with you ladies?

Due date on Thursday! I vomited soo violently at 3am last night 😭 with some on and off light cramping since then. Have a midwife appt tomorrow but I don’t think I’ll ask for a sweep just yet. Not long to go for both of us hopefully!

@mindfulmotherhood My labour started about an hour after my message at 22:30 Saturday night, and my son was born on Sunday at 18:38 ❤️ we are hoping to go home tonight :)

I had my 40 week midwife appt today and baby is measuring the same as last time...booking me in for a growth scan this week. She said it’s probably just because baby is so low down that she can accurately measure but still a tiny bit worried. Movements etc are all still normal and fine though
