Giving birth in Poland

Hello,

Does anyone know about giving birth in Poland? I don't speak Polish and I've heard that all rooms are shared in public hospitals, which makes me wonder about going private.
If you have anything to share, please do :-)

Thank you

Yes I gave birth in Poland but I chose to go private which can be covered by health insurance or around £1000. The hospital I gave birth in is no longer there but the private care was honestly amazing so I would recommend a private hospital over there. The state hospitals I hear do have to share rooms which put me off aswell.

Pm me if you want more information 🙂

I’m wondering about this as due to give birth in Poland. Is it pretty much the same as the UK? Stay at home until contractions are close together? Does a midwife visit you at home once discharged? Can your husband be with you when giving birth? Any info appreciated :)

@MumOfOne55 Feel free to PM me to discuss, I gathered info since I posted this thread (thanks to @Worldwide2 and doing my own research)
In short, it's yes to all your questions but your experience will vary depending on whether you're going private or not
