Early labour

What did early labour feel like for you? Did you have symptoms/feelings that started days or weeks before that you didn't realise at the time were signs other than all the usual ones?

I am 37+2 and the last couple days keep getting an uncomfortable kinda sore feeling at the top of my bump. Not sure how best to describe it. Wonder if it's just everything running out of space. Midwife said the baby feels very sturdy 🙈 What a word to use! I guess she meant large. Hit the stage of feeling agitated and moody even though I know I could still have weeks to go so trying to get through this stage without winding myself up more and focusing on everything that hurts/annoys me (which is everything)

Any advise welcome as first time pregnant 😊

Hi , I had that before . It’s sort of like a sun burn feeling ? It’s a muscle that runs across top of the bump that gets sore from stretching but particularly when the baby has a part of their body like a knee or bum pressuring against it.
