Orgasm after c section, will it hurt?

I'm 3 weeks post section, I don't intend on having sex until the GP gives me the ok, so I'm talking about other ways of intimacy which I'm really missing now I'm starting to feel better!

However the thought of having an orgasm and my uterus contracting after being cut through is giving me the willies! Will it hurt? Is it like an after pain? Am I worrying over nothing?
Sorry for the really personal question, but does anyone have an experience they could share (just a "yes it hurt" or "no it was fine" will do of course!)

Thank you! X

Not to be weird but you could perhaps try it bringing yourself to orgasm first so you know what to expect before your partner is involved? Depends on your recovery obviously

I had an LSCS and had sex at the 6 week point. I orgasm easily and there was no pain, but i was a bit nervous so I had a cheeky go myself the morning of the day that i new it was going to happen with my fella. He never knew i had already had a cheeky one. wink wink.

@JustMsInvisible @Melkam thanks, I didn't even think of doing a tester run. I'll try that first and see how it goes Grin

Mine did hurt. Not pain pain, but like someone pressing down in an unpleasant way. Not saying yours will, but just in case it does, I'm 6 months pp and it's all gone back to normal now. Just relax and don't put pressure on yourself

Theawkwardblonde · 17/02/2022 22:36

Mine didn't hurt at 4 weeks PP.

Watwing · 20/02/2022 19:32

Didn't hurt 2 weeks pp

I waited the 6 weeks and it was absolutely fine, hopefully you're the same

If you have a cheeky trial run with a rabbit you will be covering all bases.....Grin

I was kinda worried about this , I had a c section but didn’t feel ready until 8 weeks (they say 6 ) but it was fine at 8 👍🏻

Didn't hurt at 2 weeks pp for me. I don't know if you're breastfeeding or not but that makes the uterus contract massively - more than an orgasm would. Now that was painful! X
