I’m booked in for this in a few days. 4th pregnancy, all previous spontaneous labours. I’ll be 38 weeks at induction.
Midwife tried to do a sweep a few days ago but cervix was closed but soft, so wasn’t able to do it. Also baby wasn’t quite far enough down so I’ve been told to stay active!
Booked in for another sweep attempt before the weekend.
My question is, how successful were your balloon inductions? Was anyone unable to have it done due to your cervix not being ready/baby not engaged enough?
