I'm still early so we don't know any complications, just yet 🤞🏼 , but I was curious mamas what week you have a planned section with twins.

36+1…… the consultant wanted 38 weeks but I developed preeclampsia. My twins didn’t need any time is SCBU or NICU though x

@DaffodilDandilion that's good news they were safe after delivery, and yourself

I didn't have a section, I had a vaginal birth at 35 weeks, my water broke at home.

Bangkokbaby · 08/02/2022 17:57

37 weeks exactly. Dcda twins. It was a planned csection.

CheesecakeHeaven · 08/02/2022 18:08

Exactly 37 weeks. Are you trying to decide if you want a planned section?

BunnieMilk · 08/02/2022 18:49

Thank you everyone
@CheesecakeHeaven yes I'm thinking c section but I'm going to talk my options over with my midwife first. My son was born 2 years ago naturally and I had no many problems with him being such a big baby and he was stuck in north canal. My birth ended in forceps and it was overall a horrible experience which left me in pain and misery for 8 months with bad pelvic floor from pushing for 2 hours straight. I know a c section isn't a walk in the park but I'm terrified of a natural birth again

Just wondering if you've found the Multiples section under "being a parent" yet @BunnieMilk? There's lots of lovely experienced MNers in there Smile
