Stop/start bleeding after c section

I'm 2 weeks pp and I'm just wondering what's normal really. I've only had VBs prior to this section and the lochia was very textbook typical with those births (heavy then gradually lessened over a few weeks).
This time round my bleeding is very minimal for the most part, then I'll have a sudden hour here and there where the bleeding increases to heavy period type volume and then tapers off again. It's not enough to soak a pad in an hour, but still pretty heavy (for me, anyway!). There's no offensive smell, pain or clots, so I'm assuming no infection (and I'm otherwise well). I put the first episode down to increased physical activity that day, but since then it's happened when I've just been sat around doing bugger all too.
Did anyone else have stop/start bleeding? Was all ok? Admittedly I'm a bit of a hypochondriac!

Yes, it's normal to bleed for up to 12 weeks.
