If your first was born at 39 weeks when was#2 born?

DS6 was born at 39+2 in a really quick labour. 6 years and 2 miscarriages (and a little more weight) later I'm currently 39+3 and already feel over due with this baby.

Any tips to get started or even just stories of great second labour to keep me entertained please.

Sorry to say only my first was born at 39 weeks, the others were 40 +2 and 41+3 days..I feel your pain! Good luck with it all!

36 weeks then number 3 at 41.5 then number 4 at 40 weeks exactly.

its a lottery!!

Following. My first was born at 42 weeks via induction and I'm currently 37 weeks and 1 day. 😁 Hopefully this one will come quicker

I just assumed this one would be early too, I've had so many comments on how low my bump is and lots of cervical pressure for a week or more now. Seems so silly but really want baby out!

First was an induction at 39 weeks, second was born at 39 weeks naturally!

DS1 was born spontaneously at 39+2.

DS2 didn't make his appearance until 40+5. I was getting very fed up! He's in his 20s now and still always late for everything...

Thankfully DS3 followed in his eldest brother's footsteps and also arrived at 39+2.

First born was 37+5, second was 39+2.

I was assured second one woukd be earlier and a faster labour. Neither were true.

1st at 38.5, 2nd 37.3 only 1oz difference between the 2.

My DC1 was born at 39+2, I’m currently 38+5 with my second. I’m wondering if this one will be earlier or later

Answer is 39+4 baby girl safely arrived yesterday morning

First was 39+2 second was 40+6 felt like torture as like you assumed baby 2 would also be early

Dd1 39 weeks exactly, 8 hour total labour.

Dd2 40+2, 30 min labour (surprise home birth)

Aww many congrats OP, lovely news. DS1 was 39+6 wks, DS2 21 mths later arrived at 38wks.
