C section incision !*picture*!

My c section was last Friday (28th) and I’m now worried if my incision has opened enough to worry about! I accidentally dropped my phone on it and it’s started bleeding a little bit😫 first c section so I’m not sure what’s normal or to be expected.

No smell, sweat or overhang or anything to the area. Will keeping it clean, no fabric on and airing it be enough to heal it?? (Sorry for paranoia)

Pleaseeee tell me if you had the same happen to your wound and what happened!

I worked for years in gynae and obstetrics .That wound looks perfectly ok. As long as you continue to keep it dry and clean it should heal perfectly.The bleeding is only superficial and nothing to worry about.

Surgical nurse here and it looks fine and dandy. Enjoy your new bundle!

If you're worried ring the labour ward and ask for advice. This is what I did. They asked me to come in for a look to check it. But it was OK.

That looks completely normal

Looks absolutely fine to me, I had full on deep holes in mine (infected haematoma) and it properly seeped.. As long as you keep it clean and dry it should be fine

I think it's normal, mine seeped a little when I picked up something I shouldn't..I felt a little sting a bit like a paper cut, so was extra careful and kept it clean regularly, was totally fine. My scar now you can barely see

Absolutely no medical training here, but it looks ok to me and a lot better than mine did!
