Hi everyone FTM here!

I'm currently 35+5 today, I lost what I think was my mucus plug around 3 days ago, a big blobby snotty mucus which has continued to come out since (no blood or colour just a thick jelly like creamy mucous) lower back ache quite often and lots of tummy tightening, baby goes high up into ribs it feels and stomach feels like a rock and can last for at least 10 minutes at a time, but the main thing I'm noticing (sorry for tmi) but I can't stop going to the toilet for number 2s it could be 5 or 6 times a day it isn't diaorrhea but definitely on the softer side! Does all this sound like early labour or just normal symptoms at this stage? Thankyou 😘

It does sound like your body might be getting ready. I'd call your midwife team now since you are still preterm. Best to get checked out and see what's going on.

Sounds almost exactly how I started with my first. How are things now @Ashchall95?

Oh really?! Still nothing yet but having the back pains and LOTS of bowel movements! How soon after these symptoms did you go into labour and was you early? Xx

I was38+1 and it started at 3 am, ramped up a bit at 8 am and was in the hospital by 11 am.

Maybe things will start to profess now it's dark.

Did you manage to speak to your MW today?
