Low blood pressure started in third trimester

Hi, I’ve had pretty regular BP levels throughout pregnancy. Just before Christmas I started having fainting episodes and around 34 weeks my BP started to drop. I’m now 37 weeks and midwife said it is classed as low BP. Everything I’ve read since the appointment says it’s normal in early pregnancy, and should level out by 2nd/3rd trimester. So now I’m confused as mine has only just started. Midwife didn’t seem too concerned and just said it’s normal during pregnancy. I’m only questioning due to googling it after and reading as per the above. Anyone any similar experience with it coming on later in pregnancy? Also - I am booked in for an epidural and have read this also lowers BP, anyone with any experience there also (having low BP and also having epidural)

I had low pressure in the last few weeks of pregnancy. Labour went fine and blood pressure returned to normal afterwards. (This was a long time ago).

I'm like you, my blood pressure during my first and second pregnancy was quite low. Actually unreadable last month when I was admitted for cramps. But every doctor I've seen (lots due to being high risk) said that low blood pressure is safer and preferred over high blood pressure. Try not to worry about the epidural either. They have things to give you that will help, you'll be in the vest place:)
