Induced with first. Was 2nd early or late?

Hi all!

I was induced at 40 plus 12 with baby number 1. Was wondering if anyone in same position then went onto have baby number 2 on time or did you have to be induced again?

I was induced with my first. My waters broke on my due date with my second.

I was induced early with 1st due to IUGR. 2nd arrived VERY quickly at 13 days overdue, day before his booked induction. Weighed 9lb 6 and was less than an hour start to finish!

Thank you both. My labour ended up in emsc at fully dilated, my baby was in distress with the pushing. I'm wanting a VBAC this time but I know they don't look favourably at inductions with a VBAC.

My first came at 41+5 labour started 4hrs before my induction appointment. Second was induced at 41+5. Fully expecting number 3 to be the same.

Induced with both 1st and 2nd. 2nd was later than the 1st.

2nd I went in to be induced at 1 week over, was checked to prep for peasant and was and told oh your 9cm dilated I’ll just break your waters……1hr 6mins later he was brown

You got to 9cm without realising you were in labour?

My first was induced at 42 weeks. My second came at 36 weeks. I was so shocked when labour started as just assumed I would go over again.

I've just had my 2nd DC. I was induced with first and with my contractions started with 2nd DC at 40+5 and he was born 40+6 naturally

I was induced at 40+12 with my first. Went into spontaneous labour at 39+2 with my second, she arrived 39+5.

First child induced after 40+12
Second child 40+10
Third section at 38 weeks as preeclampsia.

My sister gave birth to all her 3 at 39 weeks, 38+6 and 39+1 weeks.

@whosaidtha yup! Literally no cramps, no pains. Nothing. That morning I’d driven Ds1 to nursery and went for a coffee/breakfast with dh because, due to Covid, dh wasn’t allowed in the induction room with me and after Ds1 I expected to be there for a day or 2!
