Am 34 +4 with twins who have been threatening to appear for weeks now. Have been having cx on and off for weeks some running all through the night.With those ones ihad lots of bearing down pains in my fanj ,pains coming from kinda bottom of bump,not regulating but some pretty damn sore and long lasting.
Last night i felt sooooooooo different,had cx again but these were different,no real bearing down feelings and pains from top of bump downwards like a cracked egg running down my tummy??
Already have 3 kids but labours with them were all kinda induced so not sure about how a real one starts off to be honest.Do these pains sound any more promising anyone??
Any advice on progressing them further ?

Do you want to progress them further? You're only 34+4, maybe you should concentrate on how not to go into labour! (i mean this in a nice way)

For me there was no real difference. My BHs were painful, and so were my contractions. My later contractions were like a 'pulling up' on the inside of my bum then a crushing on my back and accross lower tummy. I think different people feel them differently.

Also wonder that you should maybe not worry about getting things moving and try and hold off another week or two? Mind you, I don't think that you can stop labour if that's what it is.

thats a really good weight for 34 weeks. By the sounds of it it'll happen v soon. then you won't have time to sit or lie down! Good luck for when it fianlly happens.

I had about 5 weeks of BH that lasted from 3am to 7am every night. Very hard tightenings, rather painful. Initial labour came on during the day and felt the same but the cx's got closer to gether and much more painful. Any shows?
When it really gets going you wont be able to type on MN [grin}
Good luck.

Hi mini, bloody hell your twins are either very eager or they're just moving down. We have been looking out for you on feb thread. Why not try having a big bath and relaxing for half an hour(is Dh at home to occupy other kids?)

Let us know whats going on xx
