I had an emc 8 weeks ago but hoping someone might be able to help. Externally my wound has healed really well but I started with what I thought was a uti at 11days PP antibiotics didn’t work and when swabbed again it didn’t show water infection long and short it if I’ve had a few different types of antibiotics now to treat for infection and an internal and external ultrasound to check for retained placenta or catheter damage but nothing found I’m having like dull period pain type cramp but No periodncome and I’m EBF so would be very surprised been having grim discharge hence worry re infection I just don’t feel like I’m getting anywhere with the docs although they are trying. Latest antibiotics have given me thrush too I’m just really fed up has anyone else experienced similar and could help or suggest anything ?

Sorry, do you mean that you're having an awful discharge? If you think that you still have an infection abs you're not on antibiotics, I would give 111 a call today.

BFIng can give you mild contractions as you feed but with the discharge as well, it could be an infection.

Definitely phone 111 today then. The Doctors might need to give you a longer course of antibiotics.

It's normal to have discharge after a csec Google what it should be like to put your mind at ease.

mrssunshinexxx · 09/01/2022 14:38

Oh dear so sorry xxx

BunnyRuddington · 09/01/2022 18:54

I've always been told that green discharge means infection.
