Second labour after previous induction

Hi I just wondered how many ladies had a natural/spontaneous labour after a previous induced labour? My DS was induced at 42 weeks (10 years ago). I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and have period pains on and off today and I 'think' tightenings but I'm not sure if this is the start or how would I know? When I was induced with DS when I went in I was already having regular contractions apparently on the CTG but couldn't feel them. They inserted the pessary at midday but was going to send me home at 5/6pm as I wasn't in pain but when they checked me I was 8cm dilated but again couldn't feel the contractions. Every midwife tells me my stomach muscles are really strong so I'm not sure if that is what stops me feeling contractions. The only thing I did have with DS was a burning sensation across my knicker line and back ache and I did feel the urge to push when the time was right.

I was induced at 38+2 with DC1 because my waters had broken 48hrs previously and my body didn’t quite get the memo that it was party time Hmm
I went into spontaneous labour with DC2 completely out of nowhere at 36+0. I’d gone to bed around 10pm feeling completely normal, then woke up around 4am with regular contractions. DS was born at home (as planned) at 2:45pm after an easy breezy labour.
DC3 was a whole different ball game. She played silly buggers for two full weeks before she arrived. I had episodes of regular contractions every evening from 7pm onwards lasting about 4-5 hours that tapered off into nothing. So when I woke up with the same thing on my due date, I thought nothing of it. Got DC1 & 2 up, fed, off to school and nursery etc…then when I got home, my body just went nuts. An hour and 2 mins later, I had my baby in my arms! The midwife arrived 6 mins before baby Grin

Dc1 was a long induction at 42 weeks
Dc2 arrived bang on 41 weeks, so quick I didn’t make it to hospital!
