Bleeding after C-section

Hi,
My baby is over 5 months old now and I’m still bleeding after having a c-section. The doctor has referred me to the hospital for a gynaecology appointment but the appointment hasn’t come through yet. I was wondering whether anyone has had a similar experience as I’m getting quite concerned. Thanks

Sorry you’re struggling still 🤦🏼‍♀️ I was quite surprised how long the bleeding went on, especially when it tailed off after 2 weeks and I thought that was it finished. I think by 8 weeks after it had completely stopped though. 5 months is hard going, hope you get some answers

Thanks for replying. That’s interesting to hear. I think I’ll have to wait for the appointment and see what the outcome is.
