stretchmarks on boobs...do they get worse with bf?

So if you had stretchmarks (underneath but slowly creeping up to nipple height on each breast) and fairly ok, just light purple right now, did they get a lot worse with the bf process/engorgement etc? Just wondering what to expect. Never had s marks before and have only got these in ninth month despite the most conscientious oiling/creaming program possible.

Anyone?

p. s not that I intend to let it stop me bf'ing by the way. Just wondering what I'm in for.

no they should not get worse

mine didn't and they only appeared in last month; now tiny white lines, barely visible and I bf for 2 years in total.

I have bf three babies for 18 months/14 months and 30 months (still going!) respectively - so that makes 4 years of bf. At 41 my boobs are reasonably respectable - not spaniels ears, no stretch marks.

Obviously they're not what they were before I was pregnant for the first time at 33 (seem to have been pregnant or bf for most of the time since) but I don't think they're noticeably worse than the boobs of the mums I know who haven't bf at all.

When I bf, I did get some big purple "claw" type stretch marks in the early ish days and they did not look very nice!!! I bf for a year, at the end of the year I was only doing 1 feed per day and the stretch marks had totally vanished even before stopping feeding. No evidence of them now.

BTW never got stretch marks on tummy from pg, just got them on boobs from bf! Bizarre. (My boobs are tiny so when I bf, they literally doubled in size!).
