Hernia post c-section?

I had an elective section for complete previa 5 weeks ago. I've made a whizz of a recovery so far, until this morning when I felt a weird lumpy bit on the bottom right of my stomach, about an inch or so above the scar. A midwife I saw today said it could be a hernia - has anyone else had this? What, if anything, was done about it? I'll be going to the gp tomorrow morning but just wondered....

it sounds like an incisional hernia that you can get after any abdominal operation, which may need correcting with surgery

Hi @Fingerbobs
I know its been a while since this thread was posted but I'm eager to know how it turned out as I have something similar and I'm 4 weeks post c section ?
Thanks x

I got a umbilical hernia following 2 sections and had to have surgery

@mrssunshinexxx
thanks for tour reply. where abouts was the lump and what did it feel like ? Just wondering if I can tell the difference between a hematoma which the doc thinks it is.
X
