Mucus plug or leaking waters?

This is my second baby..with my first I only remember mucus plug in one go. This time I’ve been in early labour since yesterday 5:30 with stop / start contractions. I’ve had a definite ‘bloody show’ but also seem to be leaking more watery (but still gloopy) discharge which is cream and slightly yellow tinged colour. There just seems to a lot of it still coming every day...is this more mucus plug / discharge from cervix dilating or does it sound like waters? Are your waters literally water..like wee or a thicker consistency?

Your waters are very liquid, and will be clear or slightly yellow/pink/green tinged. If you aren't sure make sure you contact either your midwife or triage at your maternity unit. They'll recommend putting a sanitary towel on to judge how much liquid you're using if any. They absolutely will want to know if it is your waters that have broken

About an hour after I posted my waters burst spectacularly at home! I did have meconium in the waters but baby was born a few hours ago and touch wood everything is ok so far :)
