Can anyone tell me if I'm able to wear contact lenses during my ELCS? Had my pre op today and it wasn't mentioned. Just curious as to whether I should wear my glasses instead?

I wore mine during ECS. Or take both see what you feel like?

Hmm I wasn’t wearing my glasses which would only be because I wasn’t allowed. Pretty sure I must have worn contacts otherwise I wouldn’t have been able to see anything.

If they’re contacts you can sleep in it should be fine as long as everyone knows you’re wearing them. If they’re not then it’s best to wear glasses.
